Dialoguing – A Pseudo-Mini-Soap-Opera in American Fashion

- Hi!
- Ya doin’?
- Uh-huh.
- You look like shit, son! What happened?
- Nah, just watching TV ‘till 3am every day…
- You’re nuts…
- …and the internet…
- You just better get a life, son.
- I do have one. I work. I care for my family. I don’t drink too much and stuff.
- But what’s the big deal with staying in front of a tube *for hours* just after everybody’s asleep? In a while you won’t be able to work and care for your family. Are you in trouble with your wifey?
- Nah, everything’s fine. It happens… hey pop, TV and Internet are like… my kind of junk, but I’m not hurting anybody.
- It’s my time to intervene son. You’re right. You’re like hooked. And you are hurting yourself.
- Just drop it, dad. I’ll sleep a little more on weekends.
- You have to confront your problem son, you’ll burn out.
- I don’t think so…
- Again, what’s the big deal watching this? You’re watching gossip-shows and conspiracy shit, I would even understand if you were watching porn, but this is boring.
- …well, you might be right, dad. The first rounds between Rosie and the Donald were ok, but I wish it were over now, but it keeps going and going. I am not interested anymore if Britney is wearing panties or not, if she was drunk at Pure or not. It was sorta fun to watch Tara being a dupe, but she’s looking more and more like a drunkard and it makes me pity her. K-Fed is not even worth to talk about. The gas smell over New York might be a mind-control device, or it means the big apple is really rotten, who cares. The 9-11 perpetrators were: the liberals, al-Qaeda, Skulls and Bones, all of them, take your pick.
- Yeah, er… it’s actually boring, you see?

Zach Braff is leaving "Scrubs" for a movie career?

Waddaya mean I'm wrong?
It's a pity Perry Cox and the Janitor are just TV-characters. They would be handy for "setting things straight", as Braff seems to act in real life as dumb as J.D. does sometimes.

It is very curious how time works. Once upon a time I did really care about this show. It is not that I don't appreciate it anymore, I still do. But in a strange way, I began to lose interest in it, but why?
1. Too much seasons broadcasted for its own good? Who wants to see Zach Braff bearded after all these years? Did Scrubs really jump the shark?
2. The descending into irrelevance by using blatantly liberal- an environmentalist-biased plots and subplots? I used to prefer the more so-to-speak "generic" plots.
3. Too much guests stars? It gets boring with time, as The Simpsons can testify...

The Real Ratzinger

Karl Rahner, Hans Kung and Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger all die on the same day, and go to meet St. Peter to know their fate.

St. Peter approaches the three of them, and tells them that he will interview each of them to discuss their views on various issues.

He then points at Rahner and says "Karl! In my office..." After 4 hours, the door opens, and Rahner comes stumbling out of St. Peter's office. He is highly distraught, and is mumbling things like "Oh God, that was the hardest thing I've ever done! How could I have been so wrong! So sorry...never knew..." He stumbles off into Heaven, a testament to the mercy of Our God.

St. Peter follows him out, and sticks his finger in Kung's direction and "Hans! You're next..." After 8 hours, the door opens, and Kung comes out, barely able to stand. He is near collapse with weakness and a crushed spirit. He , too, is mumbling things like "Oh God, that was the hardest thing I've ever done! How could I have been so wrong! So sorry...never knew..." He stumbles off into Heaven, a testament to the mercy of Our God.
Lastly, St. Peter, emerging from his office, says to Cardinal Ratzinger, "Joseph, your turn." TWELVE HOURS LATER, St. Peter stumbles out the door, apparently exhausted, saying "Oh God, that's the hardest thing I've ever done..."
